Sarapiqui River Adventure and Poas Volcano //

This excellent tour gives you the chance to enjoy so many activities and places of Costa Rica in one full day.

First you will go through coffee plantations on the way to Poas Volcano, one of the most famous volcanoes due to its enormous crater. Then we will continue the journey to a private dock to aboard a boat, but before that we will stop to see the spectacular waterfall La Paz and if the day is not cloudy we can see San Fernando waterfall, one of the biggest waterfalls in Costa Rica. The dock is located in Sarapiqui River a place rich of nature, the boat ride will last about 2 hours, time to witness the magnificent rain forest and its habitats, such as toucans, monkeys, crocodiles, water birds, river turtles and many other species.

After 2 hours we will stop in a private farm to enjoy a home-style lunch and you will have the opportunity to ride a horse in a small forest to see red frogs, or if you prefer you can rest in a very comfortable hammock. In the afternoon before returning to the city, enjoy the scenic views of the exuberant Braulio Carrillo National Park as you can pass through the spectacular rain forest.
