Day 02/ SAN JOSE, HIGHLIGHTS TOUR

Full day tour.

The Highlights tour which should really be called Ten in One, begin the Pan-American road to Alajuela to stop for the first time at the famous Doka State where you are going to take the typical breakfast, visit the beautiful coffee plantation, the mill and the roast room. As you continue to climb the Poás Volcano where you will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles. Later continue the trip on the Caribbean slope, stopping to discover La Paz Waterfall Gardens, the largest butterfly observatory in the country and the impressive hummingbird gallery. A buffet style lunch is included here. After lunch you will continue on the Atlantic slope and once you arrive at Puerto Viejo you will be ready for a relaxing on a boat trip down the Sarapiqui River. Before returning to San Jose the guide will drive throw the unforgettable Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important tropical rain forest reserves in Costa Rica.

Day 03/ SAN JOSE, ARENAL AND HOT SPRINGS

After breakfast in the hotel, transfer and tour to Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs. This is an excellent and relaxing tour; first you will travel over the mountains to the rich plains of the San Ramón and San Carlos areas, suddenly you will see the perfect cone shaped Arenal Volcano (if is not cloudy). This active volcano erupts many times at day, rumbling as its sends clouds of smoke and ashes into the sky. During the day you can relax in the thermal hot springs waters. At night you will be able to watch the red lava snake down the crater, Lunch and dinner included during the tour. Drop off at the hotel in Arenal.

Day 04/ CANOPY THRU LA FORTUNA AND PICO BLANCO WATERFALLS.

Half day Canopy tour. This tour offers the perfect combination of beautiful sightseeing and physical activity. This excursion starts in two different ways; whether it be comfortably seated in an tractor cart, that lasts about 20 minutes, or with an easy and scenic horseback ride from La Fortuna to the entrance of the waterfall. Once you are at the first cable, enjoy one of the most fun adventure activities, The zip line tour. The cables, 10 in total, span lengths of 200 meters up to the longest of 800 meters; each cable offers a different sensation and experience crossing canyons, observing waterfalls, over the tops of trees or leaving from a spectacular OBSERVATION TOWER 18 meters high. The Fortuna and Pino Blanco waterfalls, along with the majestic Arenal Volcano accompany you on this trek.

Day 06/ MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK

Don´t miss Manuel Antonio Beach and National Park. Manuel Antonio National Park has 3 beautiful white sand beaches that can be visit by your own. This is the most visited National Park in Costa Rica. There are more than one hundred mammal species and one hundred and eighty species of birds here, including the rare white ibis. Squirrel monkeys (another endangered species) play in on the trees above the trails of the Park. Here, too, are two-toed sloth, raccoons, white-nosed coatis, howler, white-faced monkeys, and squirrels.
