Day 01/ SAN JOSE

Day 02/ TORTUGUERO

Depart from San José accompanied by your bilingual naturalist guide. Driving first past coffee plantations, you will head into the mountains of BRAULIO CARRILLO NATIONAL PARK. A BANANA PLANTATION process tour is part of the itinerary. Later abandon the bus and embark on the most exciting part of this tour: The boat trip into the jungle on the CARIBBEAN CANALS to the world famous TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK. Once in Toruguero, visit the Tortuguero Town and museum. Relax at night. . Note: After dinner optional activity ($25), the "night tour", which consist of a boat trip to TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK and then a walk on the beach to observe the nesting of the Giant Green Sea Turtle (only from July to October).

Day 03/ TORTUGUERO, PUERTO VIEJO AND CAHUITA BEACHES

After breakfast half day tour to the Canals. Once in the hotel enjoy a delicious lunch and later get ready to take a tour to the south of the Park and then a walk through the rainforest, enjoy hiking. On the way back to San Jose you´ll arrive to the port where a private transfer will be waiting for you to take you to Puerto Viejo Beach.

Day 04/ PUERTO VIEJO BEACH / CAHUITA

Day on your own at Puerto Viejo town. This beautiful beach town in Limon on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica holds many surprises. Long walks on pristine beaches, experiencing exotic flora and fauna in a day tour in a wildlife refuge, snorkeling or diving among the many reefs in its crystal clear waters, world-class surfing, mountain biking, kayaking and cultural visits to indigenous peoples.

Day 05/ SNORKELING TOUR AND HIKING AT CAHUITA NATIONAL PARK

You will visit the unique marine and terrestrial ecosystems of Cahuita National Park. (one of the most beautiful regions of the country) Its main attraction is a picture postcard reality of white sandy beaches, thousands of swaying palm trees, a calm sea of crystal-clear water and a live coral reef. A glass fiber boat, plus Capitan and guide will take you to practice snorkeling for 2 or 3 hours, in different places of the most important Coral Reef of Costa Rica. Additional to the Snorkeling and relaxing hike thru the Park where you will see many different species of flora and fauna, such as: Howler monkeys, White-faced monkey, Two-and Three-toed sloth, iguanas, spiders, Morphos butterflies, birds, snakes and much more. At the end the guide will take you to enjoy a delicious Caribbean Lunch.
